1st Harlington won by a small margin (110 points vs 105), so they score 18 points for the Champions' cup, with 20th Luton scoring 17. 15th Luton scored 10 for attending.

Thanks to Alasdair McFarlane for organising the competition.

The routine was as follows:

1)

The team shall enter the hall from the top door and shall proceed half way across before making a LEFT turn and proceeding down the centre of the hall.

2)

On reaching the bottom of the hall, the team shall split into 2, with the Leading Boy making a LEFT turn, the 2nd Leading Boy making a RIGHT turn and so on through the team.

3)

Both teams shall proceed towards the top of the hall, and half way up shall turn in towards each other and when they meet in the centre, both teams shall make a LEFT turn. Leading Boy A shall march down the centre to the bottom of the hall and shall make another LEFT turn towards the corner. Leading Boy B shall march up the centre to the top of the hall, make a LEFT turn also towards the corner.

4)

On reaching the corners, both teams shall go LEFT ABOUT the marker in the corner and head towards the middle marker on the opposite side of the hall. Both teams will go LEFT ABOUT this marker heading towards the last marker on the opposite side. On reaching this marker, both teams shall go LEFT ABOUT this last marker and march half way down each wall.

5)

On reaching half way, each team shall turn and march down the centre of the hall until they meet in the middle.

6)

When the teams meet, each pair turns and marches towards the windows ( Leading Boy and his team making a RIGHT turn and Leading Boy B and his team making a LEFT turn ). The team will then LEFT WHEEL around the hall until they reach half way, along the bottom wall.

7)

The team shall then march down the centre of the hall, and on reaching the centre, the 1st pair shall turn LEFT and the 2nd pair shall turn RIGHT and so on down through the team.

8)

The pairs shall then split, left hand Boy turning LEFT and the right hand Boy turning RIGHT and shall march towards their respective corners.

9)

On reaching their corners, each team shall turn and march along their diagonal to their opposite corner, crossing in the middle.

10, 11 & 12)

On reaching their opposite corners, Leading Boys A & C shall wheel to the LEFT and Leading Boys B & D shall wheel to the RIGHT marching round the outside of the hall until they meet in the centre, when they shall filter into a single line and perform a Circle Maze.

13)

On exiting the Maze, each team shall turn LEFT and march diagonally to their opposite corner. When they meet the middle, single file shall be formed with Leading Boy A performing a LEFT INCLINE to march towards the windows.

14)

The team shall then march round the outside of the hall, and shall form up in front of the Judging Table where the Officer shall instruct the team to HALT, make a LEFT turn and SALUTE.

15)

The team shall then exit via the same door by which they entered.
