Anchor Boy Potted Sports

The Anchor Boy Potted Sports was held on Saturday 23rd April from 2 pm to 4 pm at Brickhill Baptist Church.

7 companies entered teams - the results are below.

Rules:

Teams should consist of four boys. Companies may enter more than one team.

The games are:

1. Bean Bags in Hoops – see diagram - points gained by throwing the bean bags into the hoops, 1 point for large hoop, 2 for middle & 3 for small
   
2. Bean Bags in Bucket – 1 point for each bean bag that lands inside the bucket
3. Domino Tower – 1 point for each domino used in the tower
4. Marbles Game – points scored for each square the marble lands in
5. Simple Jigsaws – 1 point for each piece joined to the jigsaw plus 5 points extra if the jigsaw is finished
6. Put Cards in Order – 1 point gained for each card in the correct order
7. Peas in Pot with straw – 1 point for each pea transferred from one pot to another
8. Snakes and Ladders – points gained for the spot a counter is on when the time is up.
9. Skittles – similar to 10 pin bowling – 1 point scored for each skittle knocked down.
10. Bagatelle – points scored for where the balls finish.
11. Mini Ring Toss – points scored for where the rings land.

Final scoring –

• The team with the lowest points in a game will be given 1 point for that game.
• The team with the next lowest points in a game will be given 2 points for that game.
• The next 3 points for the game and so on.
• The points for the team that comes first in a game will depend on the number of  teams present..

The game points for each team will then be totalled and the team with the highest points will win.
