Champions' cup score

18 14 18 13 15 10

23rd Luton and 3rd Bedford entered a joint team, so each company scores 10 points towards the Champions' cup.

The rules for the games were included in the last company mailing or can be downloaded here.

Some rule interpretation/clarification:

  1. The chair will be a standard adult sized chair.
  2. Nothing to add.
  3. A set of times will be pre-written onto cards. The judge will pick a card at random for each team. The times will all be of comparable difficulty.
  4. Nothing to add.
  5. The rules will be taken literally, so potentially the balloon could be wedged under the chin, or stuck to clothing with static electricity. If the baloon is touched by the arm or hand a ten second penalty will be added, as if the balloon had hit the floor.
  6. The hoops will be 30 cm internal diameter, cut from plywood.

The competition will be run in a similar manner to the water games.

Placings for the Battalion Champions Cup will be worked out as follows:

The scores for each team will be sent to BB Headquarters for their entries into the national competition. If a company wishes to make their national competition entry in their own time, then they must notify me before the start of this competition that they do not want their scores forwarded to HQ. To comply with the national competition rules a company cannot subsequently change their mind about using the Battalion competition as their national entry. If you have any questions, please contact me.

Each company taking part will need to provide a judge, who will act as the judge for one particular game for the competition.
