The Anchors are the youngest section of our company, age 5-8 years (school years 1-3, although some groups take members in reception, please check with individual groups). Like the other sections they also complete a number of skills, this earns them the Anchors achivement award.
Our uniform is a blue polo shirt and a bright red sweatshirt that makes us hard to miss!
A typical Anchors night will start off with games, after this the lads can work on achievements or participate in Arts and Crafts. Being in Anchors is all about having fun - and there is plenty of opportunity for that!

The Junior Section is for Boys aged 8 – 11 and there is plenty of opportunity for lots and lots of fun!
Like the other sections the Juniors also follow a badgework scheme, this enables them to develop good leadership skills and enjoy participating in games and activities.
Junior section life is all about having fun and there are buckets full of that!!
Most years our Juniors enjoy the annual camp (most parents enjoy the rest too!) Junior Section is a must for any lad aged 9 - 11.

The company/senior section is for lads aged 11 - 18 and it provides members with lots of fun and exciting opportunities.
Like in the other sections there is a badge work scheme which covers areas like, Interest, Physical, Community, Leadership and adventure. This is a fun way of developing good personal skills and gaining plenty of awards.
The company section is full and fun packed with plenty of things to do.
Table Tennis , Football , Band, Chess, Ten Pin Bowling etc
Company section is a busy but fun place to be, and if all this is not enough there is also the opportunity to gain the highest awards in the Brigade. The Presidents Badge, The Queen's Badge and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. (Bronze Silver & Gold!)

BECOME A LEADER
Leadership is voluntary, although you will be rewarded with plenty of fun experiences and lots of satifaction
All our leaders undergo full training and complete DBS (previously known as CRB criminal record bureau) checks. Please do not worry, our experienced leaders will help guide you through this process.
